Our Mission
Ensuring regular free and fair elections, the rule of law, checks and balances, and peaceful transfers of power by stopping the US government’s descent into authoritarianism.
Voices for Reason PAC began when a group of friends in Alaska became united by a single goal: protecting democracy. Together, we organized the writing of 20,000 postcards to swing-state voters in an effort to defeat Donald Trump in 2024.
In reaction to the many autocratic actions taken by the Trump administration in 2025 and 2026, we remain organized and committed. We will not stand by while our democracy is dismantled.
Our Goal
Our goal for 2026: elect a pro-democracy majority in Congress, one that can serve as an effective check on the Trump administration.

The VFR PAC steering committee meets regularly. We are increasing the number of our supporters and directing them to actions they can take now (see Events) and in the future (see Take Action).
Actions that will inform citizens about the rise of authoritarianism in the US and the damage it is doing.
Actions that might persuade members of Congress to put a check on Trump or risk losing in the next election.
Actions that will counter the spread of disinformation.
