Voices For Reason: Standing Up for Democracy
A non-profit, non-partisan organization committed to stopping the slide into authoritarianism.
Ready to help restore and protect a healthy constitutional democracy?
Our Goal
Our goal for 2026: elect a pro-democracy majority in Congress, one that can serve as an effective check on the Trump administration.
Our Mission
Ensuring regular free and fair elections, the rule of law, checks and balances, and peaceful transfers of power by stopping the US government’s descent into authoritarianism.
When Donald Trump became the Republican nominee for President in 2024, a group of Alaska friends formed Voices for Reason PAC, united by one goal: protecting democracy. We knew we couldn’t sit on the sidelines.
Since then, the administration’s authoritarian actions in 2025 and 2026 have only deepened our resolve. We are committed to restoring the checks and balances, and the accountability, that protect every American, because democracy doesn’t defend itself.
What have we been doing?
Organized the writing of 20,000 postcards to voters in the swing state of Arizona in 2024. Organized the writing of 28,000 postcards to Alaskan voters in 2026.

The VFR PAC steering committee meets regularly. We work to increase the number of our supporters and encourage them to take actions now (see Events) and in the future (see Take Action).
Actions that will inform citizens about the rise of authoritarianism in the US and the damage it is doing.
Actions that might persuade members of Congress to put a check on Trump or risk losing in the next election.
Actions that will counter the spread of disinformation.
